Scented Niche World Exclusive Premiere

To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the French independent brand Parfums MDCI launched the discontinued perfume "Enlèvement au Sérail" in 2012. "Enlèvement au Sérail" was created in 2006 by the renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. This niche fragrance, once received a five-star rating from the biophysicist Luca Turin's "Perfumes: The Guide", and has become one of the favorites of exquisite perfume lovers.

"Enlèvement au Sérail" is a French classic oriental floral scent, full of sensuality and romanticism. The name of this bottle of perfume comes from "Abduction from the Harem" created by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The story tells the story of the Spanish nobleman Belmonte, who went to Turkey with the assistance from his servant Pedlio. Selim Pasha's harem rescues his lover Constance and her maid Blonde who were taken away by pirates. Although the story is very dramatic, the founder of the brand, Claude Marchal, clearly stated that the perfume inspiration did not come from the three-acts opera "Abduction from the Harem", but a unique fragrance that he had smelled on his mother when he was a child. Opening with spicy notes of black pepper and cinnamon, the theme is rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang. Followed by warm balsamic notes such as sandalwood, benzoin and amber add an oriental mystery to the fragrance.

This bottle of "Enlèvement au Sérail" is very important to the founder Claude Marchal, so he specially chose to re-launch this bottle of perfume as a celebration on the 20th anniversary of the brand.

In conclusion, “Enlèvement au Sérail” is a beautifully refined and complex fragrance that will appeal to lovers of oriental floral notes. With its spicy, floral and woody notes, it offers a captivating sensory experience that evolves throughout the day.
